Ryuso Fashion Show: Call for Participants
A fashion show of ryuso (traditional Ryukyuan dress) will be held in the museum's corridor. Handmade ryuso and your favorite outfit are both welcome.
The 1st Nuchinuwa Jomon Festival, themed on the Jomon period, Okinawan food, clothing and housing, and welfare and art, will be held at the Chatan Town Museum. In the museum's modern concrete corridor, we are planning a fashion show of ryuso, traditional Ryukyuan dress. Handmade ryuso and your favorite outfit are both very welcome. Why not share the charm of ryuso by showing your own ryuso style in the corridor?

| Selection | Participants will be selected by the organizer and operator, taking into account the schedule and the balance of outfits. Results will be sent by email by Fri. Oct. 30. |
Before you apply
- Please submit one application per person (one outfit per person).
- Please arrange your own dressing, hair and makeup.
- A changing room is available inside the museum. Please look after your own valuables.
- Products cannot be sold or promoted during the show.
- Walk-in participation on the day is not accepted.
- The show will be recorded in photos and videos and used to promote the festival.
- If the show is cancelled or changed due to bad weather or other reasons, the Festival Office will contact you.
